Located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s elk range, the Visitor Center welcomes thousands of guests each year with stunning panoramic views, educational displays, and direct access to some of the best elk viewing opportunities in the state. Every season offers something different, from spring calves and lush forests to the breathtaking bugling season in the fall and peaceful snow-covered landscapes during winter.

The best time of day to view elk is in the mornings and evenings. The most popular time of year to view elk is during the rut, which typically begins in September and carries through October.
